Thirumanjanam At Triplicane for Vedavalli Thayar

      We presented ourselves with all kinds of reciepts at the  ticket counter and had reciepts done for the silk sarees bought for Thayar.
   At 9.30  we were given the sankalpam thengai pazham and we were sat inside the Garbagraham.

    After the initial   formalities the thirumanjanam started  and we were tteated to a delightful  sight for about half hour.After this we headed to see the big Perumal standing with his entire Family all bedecked and with beautiful vasthrams.Th e thayar Rukmini was resplendent with a 9 yards saree looking as elegant as ever.

     This over  we rushed to Thelliya Singar sannidhi and then back to thayar sannidhi for a deko at her in new sarees.Yes sarees it was ...as 5 people had offered sarees for thayar.and they had draped every saree on e on top of the other.

   This over we went to collect our prasadam and to our surprise they gave us a huge steel thooku full of thayir sadam.the thooku was a gift from them to us.

   This was a total surprise but we did feel that a better method of distribution wouldve been more satisfying .like giving the prasad to everyone who came.
